If Sushi Tsu's isn't the best - it's in the top 2.

Cafe Japon by the International Mall is the best Sushi I've had in Tampa

Definitely better than Sushi Tsu or Bonsai...but those are good too

My favorite by far is Yoko's in South Tampa.  I go to Sushi Co. in New Tampa for lunch about 1x per week.  Its good, but Yoko's blows it away IMO.

There is a place right near USF on Fowler in one of those strip centers on teh same side as the Univ Mall.  I think it is something like Ichiban or something like that.  It is great and a friend of mine who lived out that way for years said it was his favorite.  I've eaten there 4 - 5 times and it is definitely good and reasonably priced.

In the Westshore area, the best place is Matoi.  Voted best of the bay many times.  It is between 275 and Kennedy on the west side of N Dale Mabry highway next to Rooms To Go Kids and across from a bookstore or something like that.  I go there for business lunches at least a few times per month and it is always packed.  Definitely one of the, if not, the best in town.....  Spicy Tuna is the best I have had anywhere (better than San Fran, NY, LA, etc..)

I think Bonsai sushi is really good.  There are two: one is on BB Downs and Bears, near the Remington's Steakhouse.  There is also a new one on SR 56 and BB Downs, neat the Bonefish Grill

Best I've had in Tampa is near my office.  It's called Tomo Japanese Sushi Bar.  It is located just north of Bearss Avenue and Florida Avenue (not far from the USF and New Tampa area).

I've had Yoko's in S. Tampa which everyone seems to love and this place is hands down better.

Is Yoko off Howard Ave.? I've been trying to find a good sushi place in town.

Quick ?

What does OT stand for when folks use it before the title of a thread post?

Off topic?

One thing?

Out there?

Out take?

I'm serious, I have no idea. I was always told "there are no dumb questions", "if you don't ask, you will never know".

Help a brother out.  O0 :hippy

Ichiban (sp?) on Folwer Ave right by T-Flats is great.. and very reasonable priced.  I highly recommend the "Lunch Box" if you like a variety.
