Mons Venus Stadium.

1-800-Ask Gary Stadium.

(Insert any other totally absurd name for a stadium that is somehow related to Tampa here)

In all seriousness, even the legitimate "kosher" Tampa-based companies and individuals I could think of just sound ridiculous as stadium names.

Nice show...being that this is not exactly a real possibilty yet I kinda wanted to see some of these.  Great way to highlight some of the joke businesses and culture of Tampa.

Outback Stadiium sounds great to me, they now are private so they can and do have the money to get the ball rolling.  One of the founds is on the board of trustees for USF so that also helps.  Plus, when you think of Outback you do think of farms and cattle.

Actually, I think of Kangaroos.  ;D  It being like Australia and all.

I also think of the Bloomin Onion, Shrimp on the Bar-B. Man I'm hungry.  :-\

Outback Steakhouse Stadium?  Tampa based company (OSI), name already affiliated with football and sports (Outback Bowl, Outback Pro-Am)

I think Bank of America Stadium is the best idea because they would donate the most money and they would love to be associated with a growing brand.

Unfortunately BoA is not going to happen, the Carolina Panthers stadium in Charlotte is Bank of America Stadium.  It could happen, but I doubt it.

Well the culture part in my quote was directed at Mons Venus...clearly. I didn't think I needed to convey my fondness for the place...not to mention the great work that they do putting underpriveleged young women through college.

I was thinking the same thing.  The Meinike Bowl game was held at the Bank of America Stadium.

If you are looking for a sponsor for a stadium, I'd like to see a local firm association with an OCS and keep all reference Tampa related.  Oh, and yes, definitely Leavitt Field.  No other field name would be suitable, IMHO.

Thats fine and dandy, but is that the message we want to convey. In case you forgot our mascot is a Bull and Outback Steak house cooks and serves them.

A bit of a conflict of interest ;D

Next time I go to the Outback I'll ask if they serve bull.    ;)

So, if by some chance in the future an unusual change of events occurs and USF is ever asked to play in the Outback Bowl we should turn it down for moral reasons ???  :-\

Leavitt Field at Leroy Selmon's Stadium (C'mon Mr. Selmon...you know you want to invest in this one!!)

OR

If we can pull all of our resources together....

TheBullsPen.Com Stadium  ;D

(seriously though...companies who could be approached: Jabil Circuit, Kforce, Tech Data, The Tampa Tribune, Clear Channel, Certegy, Publix, Walter Industries, and Verizon)

In your minds eye, picture how that would look "Welcome, one and all to the new Leavitt Field at Publix Stadium."

Hey, wait we can't use them, because they serve beef.  ;)

Your logic on the Outback would make sense if Outback Steakhouse actually did cook and serve bull meat, or if our mascot was a cow.
