BC will win tonight.

BC has won their last 2 against VTech.

VTech's offense isn't any good and BC is better this year then the last 2.

I don't think it matters much though. they both have a tough road ahead of them.

I'd check your "facts"

BC won last year

VT won the year before

Teams are 2-2 since 2002. Please don't spew iinaccurate "facts"

BC is ahead of USF in both the human polls and the computer polls.

VT is ahead of USF in the human polls but not in the computer polls.

If BC loses, USF gains ground in all 3 parts of the BCS equation.(coaches, harris, computers)

If VT loses, USF only gains ground in 2 of the 3 parts.(coaches, harris)

We want BC to get blown out.  Computers do not consider margin of victory, but humans do.  A blow out would cause BC to move below USF in the human polls, but it would not cause VT to move ahead of USF in the computers.

... also, if BC wins, they get a big win over a top-10 team, their SOS gets better. Va Tech has a loss, sure they will move up, but undefeated teams aren't going to fall below us, we could jump another 1-loss team.

All that said, I think we need to be pulling to Miami to play well and win the ACC. They have the talent to beat any of those teams, and they are no threat to us.

Did anyone just watch that on the mark, off the mark segment at halftime (BC/VaTech game)?

Both segments mentioning USF were actually pro-USF...

1. They agreed that Big East officiating sucks

2, They thought that USF dropping out of the AP and Coaches poll was a mistake, thought we should have stayed in the top 10

Wow. I am impressed.

“In my mind, I’m kind of like, ‘OK, excuses over'. We know what we need to do. We’ve got the right team together, and now we move forward, and we’ll evaluate and be accountable to each other, including myself, from this point forward.”

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
