Unless other teams in front of us lose, there's no way BC drops below us unless they get blown out.  It's safer to just go for Va Tech to lose because if Va Tech wins out we will not pass them.  If they lose now we'll easily pass them.

look at BC's SOS

well, look at WVU's SOS.  Hell, look at Arizona State's SOS coming into tonight. We should be ranked ahead of both of them (and will be by the end of the season) The humans often times arent as rational as the computers are. They vote on impulse, emotion, etc..

Computers take everything, yes, including SOS, into account. No bias.

Right now, however, BC is undefeated. And thats okay. They won't stay that way after next week. That's better for us than a Vt win. If VaTech were to win  tonight, (despite the fact that theyve played NOBODY), they'd win out and wouldnt look back. The voters would vote for them based on guilt for the shooting in April (but hey, that's what they get for leaving the Big East) >:D. BC still has to play FSU, @ Maryland, @ Clemson, and the ACC championship.

It has to happen the right way for us, and BC needs to win tonight.

Va Tech has beaten nobody AND AS SOON AS THEY DO WE CAN KISS OUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HOPES GOODBYE.

they will not lose vs. FSU

they will not lose at GF

they will not get beat by Miami at home.

so they need to lose tonight.

We need a BC win.....A BC win will help us more than a VA Tech win....SOS...BC has little backing them, and there is no way they will run the table....I see a hungry FSU and Clemson team getting on that Arse later this year....

BC will eventually lose.  Plus if they get to the ACC Championship game, there is another possible loss.  Just sit back and enjoy the game, cuz USF just needs to keep winning to move up.

samething they said about usf but usf actually lost to unranked 2 loss rutgers

the difference is, if VT wins, BC AND VaTech will be ahead of USF.

i dont see a 1 loss BC team being ahead of a 1 loss USF team.  Specially if we win this week, the pollsters  will have us ahead of BC and we all know how the computers love us.  its not like we are playing a slouch this week.  UConn is rated #23 by the BCS.

we are going to need as many 2 loss teams as possible.  If BC loses tonight they are 1 game closer to that.  I dont see either team winning out after tonight so BC lose tonight and then 1 more at some point, then Va Tech wins tonight and loses 1 more some point.
