there are a lot of recent alums in sec 206 with me.  but also some that arent and complain about my group standing the whole game.

Well, if one section was made into a GA section, then the point would be to put those that want to stand most of the game to be in that section. Think of it as a second student section... only, with alumni that want to be in that environment.

That's why my wife and I bought the "student section season tickets" this year.  I've had season tickets in 238 (club section) for 3 years now and I haven't sat in those seats once since getting them.  I just sell them every year (boy am I glad I got those when I did).  So if we had a section similar to the student section that would be what we would get, since I am pretty sure the "student section season tickets" will be done away with after this year.
