As I've said before, I can see the Big XII pulling up TCU or someone before the domino effect you describe, in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if the SEC would say "to hell with that" and drop their championship game before letting our nouveau riche behinds in.Logistics question: What would the Big Ten/'Leven start calling themselves if they had 12?The other crappy Big 12 conference

I just don't see it happening realistically-- then again-- who would have said the Big East was in our sites back in 2000

If there was an invite to the SEC, I think our alumni and students would travel a bit more too thus boosting image and the school. How does the location of all the BE schools make it hard for fans to travel? These BIG EAST football schools are in major cities with major airports. No puddle jumpers or renting a car and driving for hours to get to the school. The obvious big BIG EAST cities:Cincinnati, OHPittsburgh, PALouisville, KYSyracuse, NYTampa, FL

There are typically quick easy flights from Tampa to many Big East cities, but games that one can get to in a car/bus/RV with relative ease are not there. Seems a lot easier to get a NC in the Big East if you ask me. Never understood why Miami left to go try to play FSU every year. The ACC kinda forced some hands a little bit a few years ago but schools just don't do changing conferences every couple of years
