Here's a tidbit of info found on the site..  I didn't realize or even think about it till I read it..  history in the making. And they can be "firsts".. 

(Courtesy Greg Auman, St. Pete Times) Other than USF last week, no other current member of the Big East has ever been ranked as high as No. 2 while a member of the Big East. The next-highest ranking before Sunday was No. 3, attained by West Virginia and Louisville last season and by West Virginia in 1993. Pittsburgh and Syracuse held the No. 1 ranking before the Big East started playing football in 1991, but neither team has done so since 1982.
