should we email?  from the Uconn board.

I actually emailed John Pacquette about this yesterday and this was his response

Dear Jason:

We have acknowledged that the officials erred on the play involving a fair catch call.  We are taking action, but will not make that action public.

Regarding the other two plays, our replay officials who looked at those plays numerous times, did not feel that there was clear evidence to reverse the calls.

Thank you for your interest.

the question is why was the TD overturned?

there is no question they could review it.

what did they see that was irrifutable proof to change the call on the field?

It's a crock and nobody is going to address it.  Move on...we were either intentionally screwed or unintentionally screwed.  Gotta move on.

Let's Go Bulls!

Agreed; there isn't anything that can be done at this point..

Yes there is....We can change what we do from this point forward!.....Like put the ball in the endzone on TO on the opponent's side of the field as well as not shot ourselves in the foot with mindless penalties...

But wait! Wasn't the call on the field of the propulsion ball a TD? If there was no evidence , why did they overturn it? HMMMM!!!! Me seems there maybe cover-up afloat!  As far as the dealing with the erring problem with the officials, they only got half of the graft money they were supposed to get for calling a one sided game.  >:(    Reaper

I wish those people telling everyone to move on would just shut up. This is a message board, people can discuss whatever they want. They realize the game or history can't be changed, just trying to find an explanation. Some of you act like we're on the football team and have to concentrate on this weekend's game. We're fan's, not players, we can concentrate on whatever we want.

If I was the BE Commish. I would not acknowledge the USF / RU blunder.  How can you admit to screwing two teams on back to back days?  I would probably take the worse of the two which was the UCONN / UL blunder and act like the other was the right call.

Fyi

The more I look at the replay the more I am still confused. McKenzie never had the ball under control.

It was the best way they could find to get more Big East teams into the rankings creat a race int BE, and more options to the BCS bowl scouts.
