I actually emailed John Pacquette about this yesterday and this was his response

Dear Jason:

We have acknowledged that the officials erred on the play involving a fair catch call.  We are taking action, but will not make that action public.

Regarding the other two plays, our replay officials who looked at those plays numerous times, did not feel that there was clear evidence to reverse the calls.

It's a crock and nobody is going to address it.  Move on...we were either intentionally screwed or unintentionally screwed.  Gotta move on.

I wish those people telling everyone to move on would just shut up. This is a message board, people can discuss whatever they want. They realize the game or history can't be changed, just trying to find an explanation. Some of you act like we're on the football team and have to concentrate on this weekend's game. If I was the BE Commish. I would not acknowledge the USF / RU blunder.  How can you admit to screwing two teams on back to back days?  I would probably take the worse of the two which was the UCONN / UL blunder and act like the other was the right call.

It was the best way they could find to get more Big East teams into the rankings creat a race int BE, and more options to the BCS bowl scouts.
