The eyes of the nation...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...will be on Piscataway, NJ on Thursday night. USF is THE story in CFB right now. Everyone will be tuning in to see if they are for real - if the #2 ranking is justified. After our 2 early missteps, this is the perfect opportunity to gain back credibility in front of the entire nation. If you can't get fired up for these situations as a fan, player or alum - you are missing something inside. Go RU!!

Cmon Bulls    show the nation and the critics that we are the best!!!

The environment at Rutgers is gonna be a heck of a lot like the environment at Auburn... loud, boisterous, a decent D, good running back, and a senior QB that should be better than he has shown thus far...

I like our chances, but it will be a close game.

The environment will be loud and crazy, but about 40,000 fans light.

Need to block out the environment and the the recent pub.

Play hard and bring our A-game and we will win!

Go BULLS

Rutgers definitely will come out looking for redemption. The Bulls will come out hungry. I think it's gonna be a good game.

Go Bulls! Beat Rutgers!

They were also discussing whether or not to rush the field if they win when I was perusing earlier.

How cool is it that we are a team you would consider rushing the field for?

REMEMBER, REMEMBER

THE 29TH OF SEPTEMBER!

I hope the coaching staff shows this to the players EVERY DAY this week -- especially the DEFENSE and OFFENSIVE LINE.

Conference games, four of six on the road, very true words indeed.

I believe Teel is a Junior.  No biggy, just didnt want confusion :).

Here's my take:  Our goal was to win the Big East.  Now comes the part where we KNOW we need to win in order to achieve that.  Now, Rutgers game really hurt last year.  That Grothe fumble hurt as did the missed field goal and dropped 2-point convo.  Not to mention the clutch 50-yard field goals THEY got.  We had them last year, and let them off the hook.  NO WAY do we let that happen again.

Rutgers has shown that they can be beat, and rather easily.  But do you think that they would really want to lose at home THREE TIMES IN A ROW?  Not really.  But they burned their bridge last year with their chant last year and we'll be ready.  Ray Rice has shown that he cant get it going against good competition.  Mike Teel has shown that he isnt clutch at all.  If we can get on em early and often, we'll be resting our starters again.

Lastly, this is a BIG revenge game for us.  We have THREE of those this year, and this is the road game.  They want another "Pandemonium in Piscataway."  Not so much....

Let's go get em!
