It seems that each week we've had someone else on defense step up to the plate. I'm in now way taking away from Big Ben's standout game, but Tyrone McKenzie was everywhere Friday night. Whenever a big stop was needed, he was there. The hit he layed on Slaton to cause the fumble was picture perfect. So glad that his waiver cleared so we could have him out there this year.

T-Mac has been better than anybody could have asked replacing Snake.

I watched the replay again and TMac was a beast. He DESTROYED Slaton on one tackle for the fumble. This guy was ALL OVER the place Friday night too. And Duemig kept talking about how we would lose because our LBs aren't as strong as last year. What-eva!

I said before the season, and I'll say it again today. We lost 2 senior LBs(one to the NFL), and our LB corps is better than it was in '06.

And I know this thread is about McKenzie, but I really believe that the story of the year so far has been the play of Mompremier. Talk about coming out of nowhere...

I'm with you Shoop!  Our LBs are better this year in my opinion.  Loved Nicholas and St. Louis, but McKenzie and Mompremier have played great this season.  Hopefully they will continue to impress all Bulls fans for the rest of the year!!

Go Bulls!!!!
