Will we be ranked higher than UF and WVU now?

i think we definitely move ahead of Florida. auburn beating florida makes our win against auburn look that much better.

If WVU behind us, then UF has to be behind us too since WVU lost to #18 ranked (usf) and UF lost to non-ranked Auburn plus we beat them..

While I'm not usually a stat guy, figured I'd take a look at the stats from the USF-AU and UF-AU games, just to add more to the growing debate of wether we should be ranked above UF.

and remember we played AU on the road, UF got AU at home!

USF-AU

Total yards:  USF - 319  (184 passing , 135 rushing)

                 AU  - 290  (165 passing, 125 rushing)

AU-UF

Total yards:  UF  - 312  (201 passing, 111 rushing)

                 AU - 327  (227 passing, 100 rushing)

both UF and USF offenses are about even (you mean our sloppy offense got as many yards as the vaunted Urban Myer UF offense?!  yes, the same UF offense that was called almost unstoppable by a certain Tampa Bay radio personality).

but look, what wins championships?, D wins championships!  The USF Defense held the AU offense to about 40 yards less.

Give USF the #10 ranking, UF can have #12

I'm preparing for the Gators to still be ranked higher.  I think many of the polls were already turned in before the end of this game.  The late game also hurt us a few weeks ago when we beat AU.  Many posters still had AU ranked in the high teens.  They did not wait aroung to see us beat AU

I expect the Gators to be ranked higher, but not for your reason.  If they turned in their polls during the game, they would think Auburn was going to wins ince they were leading.

At the very least...it helps our SOS with Auburn's win over Florida. We need them [Auburn] to ride this win like we have when we beat them.

UF should fall at least 8-10 spots because they are losing to an unranked team at home. Remember that Auburn has 2 losses. This is a huge lose for UF. There is a SEC media bias, but we should be ahead of UF and WVU.
