Gator Bowl wold be a great step up from the last two years...but NC would be phenomenal.  Before the season started, Gator Bowl would be a good dream, but now there is a possibility, I mean a possibility of a National Championship, and that would be ectasy!!

Although our defense is playing lights out, our offense isn't close to a USC or LSU right now, or even UF for that matter.

I'm thinking of making a hotel reservation for the Orange Bowl just in case - it can always be canceled.  Am I crazy?

AS we keep knocking off the BE "favorite" we keep moving up.

When will they understand WE are the favorite??????????

Let's see Rutgers has beat who??????  Buffalo, Navy, Norfolk St.??, and now Maryland

I'v said it before the season and I'll still say it.  Rutgers was a "flash in the pan" lat year and one player dimensional ... Rice ...

I predict at least 3 pick in our game against them.

We will be in the BCS game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they're not a flash in the pan. they've gotten better each year, and last year their defense looked phenomenal. sure they haven't really beaten anyone, but i know they are talented enough to beat us, and a lot of other teams.

1) Last year Rutgers had Brian Leonard at fullback to compliment Rice.  Leonard was good enough to be drafted in the NFL.

2) QB Mike Teal leads the nation in pass efficiency.  Not total yards. Not TD passes -- but pass efficiency.  That is quite an improvement... and makes it a little harder to stack 8 or 9 in the box and make them pass.  He also has only 1 pick in 57 passing attempts.  Of course, none of his previous opponents have CBs like Jenkins and Williams, but it shows he doesn't make many mistakes.

3) Rutgers' defense may be as fast as USF, probably the fastest defense we will see all year.  And given USF's offensive inconsistencies, it could be a game like Auburn...

I think we're the Rutgers of this year, and Cinci will be the USF of last year... we need to be careful of them, because they have the potentential to trip someone up (namely us or Rutgers).

Isn't the Gator Bowl ACC v.s. Big XII this year?
