According to TripleB it doesn't include students.

TripleB is probably wrong now that he thinks about it. I was thinking they were scanning ID's at the turnstiles but that's not the way it's done, is it? ............ Don't mind me.

I would think it does include student ticket allocation.  This 60K number for WVU that is being thrown around certainly includes student tickets

they still scan the IDs.  however, that 35K does include season ticket holders and i dont think you will get a 100% show from them.

however, 35-38K butts in seats should be about right.

if it was a 7pm start you could expect probably about 42K

Both those figures must be tickets sold plus a guesstimate of students.

they have to guess the student tickets will be sold on WVU and have fixed the number at 12,000 for now so that is where they get the guess IMO

On UNC I would do the math 20,000 season tickets + 5,000 UNC tickets plus 12,000 student tickets (per other thread) would be 37.000 and would only allow minus 2,000 single game purchases so far.

UNC could bring more than that--- they will have strong walk up sales imo--- lots of UNC fans in the area.
