Does anyone have the scoop?

I was on the planning committee with SG for it. It looks ok but the initial plans were AMAZING. I am not sure if the city plans any more construction on that part of what will be the riverwalk. I believe that the website for the river walk is tampariverwalk.net or something like that. I think that somewhere in the site (it is very poorly designed) you can post comments to existing parts of the riverwalk and also make suggestions/volunteer/apply to serve on a committee, etc. Anyway - its going to be very pretty when the whole thing is finished in a few years and USF will have a prominent part within it! I walk past it every Lightning home game, haven't really seen much work done on it recently, I was under the impression it was done. If I had a digital camera, I'd post some pics.In other USF near downtown news, the new USF Health builiding on Davis Islands looks really impressive, one of the first things you see driving over the bridge. Guest
University of South Florida Park on the Riverwalk South of the Crosstown Expressway and north of the Platt St. bridge, the city's latest segment of the Riverwalk is a park dedicated to the contributions of the University of South Florida to our community.
