Price of stadium/construction materials keeps going up.

FAU is using the same exact designers (FAU BOT, FAU Administration, Howard S and a few top boosters took a 2.5 hour tour of BHNS just last week) that built UCF's stadium...and while its only 2/3 the size (30,000 seats)...it will cost exactly the same in today's $$$$.

With every year...the price tags only go UP.

PS. Since it will be only 30,000, not sure if they will include water fountains  ;)

They are also closing in on you guys in BCS wins FAU -1 UCif -2

Construction materials are actually going down now as demand has been down for a while. I have had some subs cut prices in the last 6 months because of the prices and demand falling.

Maybe they use your design and actaully pay for a finished product ;)

Funny the article I read said that they approved the stadium and the money to now design a stadium. No stadium has been designed yet they will start now.

They are already learning form your mistakes as they are building 1,000 club seats not 800 so there is an increase right there add in the normal amount of concession stands and water fountains and you get a legit price

Shouldn't they worry about keeping their I-A qualification first? That great win over Minnesota only had 10,759 people in the stands to see it. And you thought UCF built a stadium too soon.

UCF built 24 sky boxes that sold out 14 months before opening...and yes...UCF was very conservative on Club Seats (originally had planned to have 1,000), but the Sky Box Tower will probably be the first thing scheduled for expansion.

The 6 story tower is already planned to grow more than double in size as it will extend toward each end zone.

PS. Check the price of steel from late 2004/early 2005 vs 2008 when FAU will have signed their contracts. You will see a GLARING difference.

FAU has 25 skyboxes in the plan also.

Yeah...maybe it'll be called, "Comcast Stadium"...actually..it probably will.  I hate that they copied our design...but I'm sure they just wanted a quick render to sway votes.  Honestly though.....UCF has a much bigger fan base than FAU and has been playing a lot longer....I hope this will help them...I root for all FL teams to do well.

But USF...you have no idea what it's like to have football on-campus....it's a whole new world and beats out ANY Ray Jay!  The thing is...we got ours at a deal at $55 mil.  They will have to pay $70 to $80 mil for their 30k stadium....trust me...if USF is thinking they're gonna wait until they can build a Bryant Denny or Papa Johns....forget it...it won't be for another 30 yrs. or more.

Those look like the same palm trees in the UCF rendering...

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
