Drewski Posted September 19, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 280 Reputation: 7 Days Won: 0 Joined: 07/31/2003 Share Posted September 19, 2007 My girlfriend and I are among those that bought season tickets this week. Although I'm still a grad student and can technically get tickets for free...I'd rather not have to worry about getting WVU tickets...plus I don't mind spending a little extra money to help the University as long as I can afford it. BULLue Schist Posted September 19, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 64 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 03/09/2006 Share Posted September 19, 2007 I think I was #19,900. ;DDuring the Aurburn game i told myself if we could beat Auburn, i would cough up the cash to get the tickets. Sure enough we won and i got the season tickets. I know i will get at least one additional season ticket next year and most of my frined (all grads over the last 2 years) said they will do the same. it is just so expensive for good tickets as a new grad.whats' sad is i don't know where my seat is yet. I am sure someone who knows can post the specifics, but I think they do a recent grad deal. You get a bit of a discount on the contribution for up to 3 or 4 years after graduation. I'm pretty sure they have special deals for recent grads. The New Alumni group ticket donation fee is $25 for the first year after graduation, $50 the second year, then $75, and $100 the fourth. I am not sure what the sections are or the ticket prices are though. The main thing is getting a cut on the donation fee just out of graduation. Z Bull Posted September 19, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 151 Reputation: 7 Days Won: 0 Joined: 09/10/2007 Share Posted September 19, 2007 That is great news. I hope season ticket sales climb well over 20,000, and everyone renews next year. I also want to know if anyone other than the team can get the wrist bands? If so, I want to buy some. Also, I hope a portion of the sales price will go to Moffitt or related cause. Someone please advise on these. Thanks.GO BULLS !!! FININSH STRONG !!!
