With that in mind, on Friday the 28th of September, Tampa Bay and the University of South Florida will be the focus of the College Football world, as ESPN will be visiting us to televise what may turn out to be a match-up of two nationally-ranked teams.

We will be ranked team next Friday? Are you saying that we are looking past UNC?

I assure you the team is not looking past UNC.  I've heard from the players (press conferences) that if they do not focus on each game.....all of this publicity and rankings will be for nothing.  And yes, if the team loses to UNC we will not be ranked for the WV game.

If I remember correctly, I believe there was a story a while ago in the times or trib about how they lit the suntrust roof for the lightning playoffs or christmas.  maybe it had some contact info in the story.  maybe Greg or Bret can dig something up.

I just sent one to mayor Iorio and created another version and sent to the Lakeland Commissioners and mayer as well as City of Lakeland Parks & rec. and Public Works.  Figured they might cover lakeland also since this is Grothe's home town.

Maybe we can get some support growing all around the Bay area.
