OK - So how do we make it happen? Engage the cheerleaders? The jumbo screen operator?

Let's make it happen..

Couple of steps... write a letter to:

1) Letter to the editor of the Oracle

2) Email the cheerleading coach

3) Write the AD... maybe he can pass it along to someone else.

4) Make a "GREEN" sign for the student section and a "GOLD" sign for the other end zone.

How about GO -- BULLS?

....easy to yell (with each single syllables), easy to understand....

Work's for me.  BTW, Mrs. _Eats It, love the sig.  Hopefully, he'll have a picture like that with CJL every year unitl he's 18.  After that, his photos will be with CJL while he's wearing his Bulls' uniform.

I don't really like Green/Gold.  South/Florida is nice, and wouldn't be hard.  While "Florida" is technically three syllables, it's closer to two syllables, especially when shouting (FLOR-DA!!).  When most people pronounce it, it doesn't come off as a distinct three-syllable "Flor-i-da".

What would really be awesome, but probably too complicated, would be:

SOUTH/FLORIDA

SOUTH/FLORIDA

GOOOO/BULLS

If that could somehow catch on, it would be a unique chant, and would be a great atmosphere with the whole stadium shouting it.

I dig the finish strong idea... But it seems like we can't ever get on the same page about anything.  but...  if it was announced on the jumbotron, it'll happen.

Thanks! That's the plan, too...a picture every year. :-) Two days before I had my son, I actually saw Coach at University Mall when they unveiled the new uniforms. I wish I had gotten a picture that day!  ;D
