The ONLY  truly slow smoked meat in the area.

Closer to the stadium is Big John's Alabama BBQ

If you hang around for a week, I'm smokin' butts for the WVU game. That is the best!

for pizza i have to say windy city pizza, just a couple miles up the road from the stadium.

Ribs:  Back in the day, it was Big John's on 40th St in Tampa (not the best part of town).  Not sure if it's still around.

Steaks:  Bern's.  Not just for the steaks, but the whole experience.  Reservations to dine and have desert are seperate.

Burgers:  I used to like the Loop up on N Dale Mabry.

Pizza:  CDBs.  I used to work there.  The CDB special is one heavy pizza.  :-\

Bars:  Can't hlep you.  It's been 7 years since I lived in Tampa and those things change so much.

Strip Joints:  Mons Venus (Just found out about the 6 foot rule)  :'(

For the best burger, go to Five Guys Burgers and Fries on Fowler Ave. Its near the University Mall

There is also one on Kennedy its a little closer to the stadium
