One win at a time. In terms of just performance on the field, we've left both fsu and miami in the dust!

Another good game in 2 weeks the same weekend we play wvu, Florida at LSU

Speculation 101  ;D

Win after UNC, # 20

Win after WVU, # 15

Win after FAU, # 13

Win after UCF, #11

Win after Rutgers, # 7

Win after UCONN, # 7

Win after Cincy, # 5

Win after Syracuse, #5

Win after L'ville, #3

Win after Pitt, #2

. . .  :o

1. This is possible IF USF is able to keep winning.  Every game is surely winnable... but many of them could also go the other way.

2. For USF to get any higher than #10 or so requires teams ahead to lose.  USF will need help to make it to #2...

3. Don't forget USF has a bye-week the last week of the year... which means USF could drop down based on what happens that last week.

A national title berth is somewhat ticky-tack anyway.  Remember, 12-0 Auburn never had a shot...but 1 loss UF did.  You not only have to be good, you have to be lucky.  If USF manages to go undefeated, which is a ridiculous if, there's as good a shot for us as any other.  Would we jump usc, lsu, and oklahoma?  No.  Will teams behind us jump us?  Not likely given our schedule.  Given that, the biggest chance for us to make it is if we are one of two teams to finish undefeated (or the only one).  The odds of that aren't good for any school, but hell at least there's a shot this year.

Until we drop the first game, we are still in the NC hunt. That is the beauty of being in the BCS. It gives us an advantage over the Boise State's of the world.

I for one am holding out hope. Is it likely, no. But still possible with us sitting at 2-0. Think about it like this, who has a better chance of playing for a national championship this year... USF, Auburn, Nebraska, Tennessee, FSU, UM, UL, etc.

We know we can beat everyone left on our schedule, we have done it. We got through the unknown game in Auburn. Now we are in familiar territory.

The best thing we can do right now is pull for our No. 23 USF Bulls, and hope that our recruiting is going well. That is KEY. We do not want to be one of those teams that has a great season, but cant sustain the success.

Getting ranked in the top 25 will really help recruiting for sure. Now, we need to stay in the top 25 by beating UNC  this weekend. The longer we can stay in the top25 the better our name will be out there for everyone to see. The exposure of being in the top 25 is pretty powerful to say the least. Go Bulls!!!!

The point is we don't need to be a one hit wonder, we need to stay in the top 25 at least until WVA game.  I am hoping we take care of business with UNC.
