Will the atmosphere of campus expand beyond the four sides of campus and grow and be more like a college town (obviously it won't BE a college town). How do you see the surrounding area of campus in 10 years.Go Bulls!

The new Magnolia apartments will be built. The parking situation will be better. USF will get more academic recognition. Hopefully a new baseball stadium will be built! The sun dome renovations should be complete. The old dorm halls will be torn down (kappa, Lambda, epsilon etc. and new ones will be built in their place. Thank God!), and possibly some other unknown renovations that have not come to light yet. Oh and BTW USF wants suggestions on what to do with MLK square. It will be expanded and redesigned once the new Marshall center is built.

Although, I think the location in a large metropolitan area might kill the chance of that. But, building more housing on campus is a step in the right direction. What is the current student population on campus? They're going to redesign MLK? I love it the way it is... bummer.

Will not happen. When the school was first laid out, that area was designated as "the green" and they said as long as the school is there, that area will remain open and green. But we allready have more students on campus then FSU. My dream would be a small "downtown area" with Bull Hoofs painted on the street. It could be very successfull. With all the medical building and school employees ect. lunch time would pack it and the students at night would fill the bars.

Although, I am not sure where they would go.I would like to see the number of cars on campus reduced from those who live on campus. Free up some more area that is currently occupied by resident parking.

The commuter school outlook will change, school pride is at an all time high here on campus and for the most part the dorms we have on campus are full, and the surrounding apartments are close to capacity. Once the new dorms are built, look out.
