Since Nobody else started this thread yet I will.

Is there any word on if the fieed will be painted for the WV game?  Friday night on ESPN, such a huge game, possible sell-out, and with the Bucs away I think this is a no-brainer to paint.  With the estimated 55k tickets already sold thats less than a dime per ticket to pay for it. (based on $5000 cost mentioned here last year.)

Maybe we could even get our "iconic" U at midfield instead of it inside the white Buccaneer flag???????  ;D

Lets just hope the sod doesn't come up like last years Rutgers game  ::)

Definitely.  If it was ever possible and deserving for any game in our history, this is it.  We must paint our own logo sans the flag at mid-field.  With the Bucs away for 2 weeks, they could replace the sod at midfield if necessary so they can have that **** flag back.

Doug Woolard said they will paint the field every chance they get. Money is not an object when it comes to this. I'm pretty sure the white flag has to stay though, but don't quote me on it.

yea it will be painted.  how cool would it be those if we were able to replace that flag with a nice the bulls logo.

Remember the soccer game on TV last year?  That HUGE iconic U at midfield looked sweeeeeet on TV.

This may be pushing it but I'd really like to see the Big East Logo at the 25s as well.  To see how far our conference has come in the last few years from one that most had written off as dead to us being a (very) possible top 20 team playing a top 5 team from the same conference I'm pretty durn proud.  Plus the more we can promote the BE the more we promote ourselves.

I do not see this being a big deal the Bucs play on the road @ Carolina that weekend. Maybe they can paint the Pirate Ship green too.

It would be great to have the top of the SunTrust Building downtown in green and gold for TV.
