Well, there was a miscommunication about my schedule and I didnt know I was supposed to work.  I was called, but I missed it because I was working the charity hockey game that day.   So, I no call no showed.  But, in all my time there, I have never intentionally not shown up...I would never do that...and I have gone out of my way to help out when they needed me to pick up shifts.  Everyone knows how much i loved the store...I mean, I named it...   I helped open it.   That night, I was called at around 11pm and I got fired over the telephone.  It hurt me pretty bad and Ive been upset for awhile, not only that I was fired, but that I wasnt even sat down and told to my face..it just wasnt handled well.  I am surprised the board hasnt heard about it yet...Craig really went out of his way to tell everyone who came in.  When my friends would ask where I was, instead of saying she is no longer with us, he would tell them that he fired me.  People that had no business knowing were calling me about it.  Basically, the past 3 years of work experience just disappeared.....      I learned some lessons, and I am currently looking for another job, but its been really personal to me because of how much I loved the store and working there.   I honestly wasnt making too much money and it was super stressful...but that wasnt what it was about.   Not for me anyways...

That sucks to hear. I am sure you will bounce back on your feet and move on to bigger and better things!

Good luck!
