The stupid loss normally comes on the road, so I don't think it will happen against UNC.  Two years ago it was at UConn.  Last year was at Kansas.  Plus we have an off week, so I doubt CJL will let our guys get complacent.  They'll be ready to go when UNC comes to town.  Plus the players that have been nicked up or haven't played, will be raring to go and that should give us some additional pep.

Looking at our schedule...UNC, FAU, UCF, UConn, and Syracuse would qualify as stupid losses to me. We should be better than those teams...

Losing to Rutgers, WVU, or Louisville would be tough but understandable because these are the "contender" teams in our conference.

Two games that scare me...  Pittsburgh on Thanksgiving weekend...because it is a road game in the cold. But the scariest game to me right now is Cincinatti. They beat us last year...hired one heckuva good coach in Coach Kelly, and that defense looked suffocating this last weekend against Oregon St.  :-\

yeah, this is the next step we have to take if we want people's full respect. we can't knock off the auburn's, wvu's, etc. and then turn around and lose to uconn, 'cuse, etc.

i think this team is different, though. i think we'll beat everyone we're supposed to for a change and make a legit run at the big east title. go bulls!
