Am I the only one that thinks attendance won't be hurt as bad as people are saying?  There's WAY too much buzz going on.  Student will pack the house, and hopefully walk ups will increase because they're jumping on the bandwagon.

I think attendance will be decent.  More than Elon, probably 35-40K.

or the exposure we'll receive

Interesting twist on that .... Paul Porter called in to JP's show on Monday. He said he was a little befuddled as to why USF didn't make it into the Top 25 so he said he called around to some of the voters that he knew. One of the main reasons that they didn't vote for us was that they weren't that impressed with our play from watching on Saturday. Per Porter, if they had just seen the score they would have been more inclined to vote us up there.

this sucks, i have shabbat lunch here at my work at 12:30.

Shabbat lunch on Yom Kippur?? You guys get a new assignment from G-d on what to do on Yom Kippur

my bad, forgot that the game was on Yom Kippur, so i'll be sitting in services starving repenting my sins and hoping for a bulls victory.

aka...werent impressed with our kicking game or redzone offense.

but given the circumstances, (in auburn, auburn having a good defense) i think vs North Carolina they will see a lot more of what the media wants to see (TOUCHDOWNS)

Noon games bring fewer fans and that is never good for a nationaly televised game. RayJay will look empty.

Well, I'll be there as I'm sure a lot of others will be as well.

After we get ranked this week (after UF and Georgia Tech win, but not Alabama or Washington...also, Hawaii plays UNLV that played Wisconsin tough), there will be a new buzz about our team.

it will still be a good showing but its probably going to be about 7-8,000 less then if the game was at night.

That's probably about right .... I'll be there but no tailgatin because of prior commitments .... I wonder if it affects many UNC fans traveling in for the game.

As for those who have to work - clearly some things take priority over Bulls football.

Work is NOT one of them. Quit - there are other jobs.

;D
