Part of their Monday Morning QB article...

Third down

The Big East's stock is also rising after South Florida's upset at No. 17 Auburn.

Most people go to the bar on their 21st birthday, but quarterback Matt Grothe celebrated by throwing the winning touchdown in overtime.

Combined with last year's victory at No. 7 West Virginia, look for coach Jim Leavitt to become a hotter name during the offseason when bigger jobs open up. He has taken advantage of his home state's widespread football talent to build a team worthy of its first top-25 appearance.

Seven of the Big East's eight teams are 2-0, but South Florida is the only one to beat a ranked team.

Although West Virginia, Louisville and Rutgers get the publicity, watch out for the Bulls. They play West Virginia and Louisville at home.

Jim will never leave but there is going to have to be a plan in place to pony up every few yrs and probably again next yr to make sure that Leavitt does become the Joe Paterno & Bobby Bowden of USF.

If things continue to shape out for our football program, I say up him to 1.5 _>, increase his staff's wages by a considerable amount (we lose waaaaay too many staff members in the offseason), and get this guy a dining hall.
