but, is it more than that for the BE?

is the game as big or bigger for the BE than the others listed?

I think WVU over Georgia was the statement game.  That game said that the BE's best could play with anybody.

After that, I'd say that the Auburn game and the Miami game tie for second, but the fact remains that the BE proves, yearly, that it can play with any conference in the country.

West Virginia beating Georgia is the biggest win and only a NC win would top it. Everyone thought the new Big East sucked until WVU won that game. Then they started thinking the new Big East had something.

I agree 100%.  The WVU win over UGA a few years back was the biggest of all, and came at a time when nobody outside of the Big East thought it could happen.

I agree with everyone.  Even though it's a game that was kind of under the radar, I would think that Louisville's win over Wake Forest in the orange bowl last year was important because it gave the new Big East 2 bcs wins from last season adding to the legiticamy of the new big east.
