They were 13... so they fell quite a bit. We went from 20 points/votes to 115

Yeah, and South Carolina beat #12 Georgia and went from 34 points to 294.

What a joke.

Bogus. What a joke.

The coaches poll is a complete joke.  Miami still has 3 votes in it.  VT played awful against ECU and looked like a 1-AA against LSU and they are #17.  Georgia has no business being ranked.

the coaches can't watch most games - they are preparing for their own team.  They vote largely on reputation.

SEC has 12 teams!!! and BE has 8 teams!! SEC coaches vote for SEC teams to keep SEC and recruit strong!! That is the difference!! and cheat!!

TX hit it. I wouldn't be shocked if its different next week... The game was't over til almost 1am eastern. Unfortunately it looks like many split votes because it was still in doubt

I guess we'll just have to wait until auburn starts beating all the SEC teams to get more respect. I think auburn has a very good defense and some talent on offense. I expect them to win almost all of their games.

I believe it's only the AP poll that allows for 2A schools to be considered.

It's pretty lame, but we can't allow it to deter our attention to the field. JUST GO OUT AND WIN BABY!!!

Quit worrying guys.  We will be ranked next week without even playing.  A lot of coaches cast their ballots before game was over, hence the split votes between AU and USF.  AU hardly got any votes in AP poll.

Also we are BARELY behind aTm for 25th, and not too far behind #22 Tenn.

And, by not playing next week, we will just sit back and watch teams lose.  Several Top 25 teams will lose next week, such as:

#24 Hawaii plays at UNLV, could lose.

#22 Tenn plays at FL, will lose

#21 BC and #15 GT play each other, one will lose

#19 Oregon plays a good Fresno St team, might lose (they played aTm tough)

#16 Ark plays at Ala, could lose.

At least 2 to 3 teams will lose next week if not more, so we will get in next week without even playing.  Mark it down.
