I should not have posted that what I was saying is that you were showing the difference between the types of Bulls we have as mascot.

And I was kind of shocked when I saw Tony the Tiger in your trunk; was meant as a joke and not to start a rumor that you do or do not like the Brahma.

If one can say a Tiger is a Tiger than one can say a Bull is a Bull no matter what type.

Still don't understand why you think I don't like the Brahma ? This is how silly rumors start ... and you even stated that I didn't like "the kind of bull we have".

How have we moved away from the Brahman Bull?  USF dropped Golden Brahmans in favor of Bulls for marketing reasons, and Brahma is also breed of chicken, which caused confusion.  Rocky's image has changed from the plain Bull of the 60's - early 90's to the robotic evil bull of the late 90's to early 2000's (the goat) to the current bull.  The costume of the mascot always has and still resembles the shape of a Brahman bull.  Why would his breed change?  There is no such thing a just a Bull breed of a male cow.

It is funny how people will opine on the internet without even using the same tool for research to back up their claims.

So I retorted:

Looking at the past season's highlight videos they end with a BULL, not a Brahma.

Look behind Leavitt's desk, not a Brahma.

Look at the statue in our lobby of the athletic facility, not a Brahma.

Look at TheUSFBulls.com, not a Brahma.

Look at GoUSFBULLS.com's wallpaper, not a Brahma.

Look at the Intro before our games, not a Brahma.

This is why I BULLieve we are going away from The Brahma look. Show me reasons why you think we are still using a Brahma image.

P.S. It doesn't matter to me, I'm a BULL no matter - but do prefer the "classic" Bull images.

Actually, I did not realize any error with my argument.  I did not feel a need to follow up on that old topic. 

The Bull Shield logo is Brahma-esque.  However, if you look at the majority of merchandise, press releases, web sites, etc., the leading logo is the iconic U.  So, you could say that USF is going away from bull images to the iconic U.
