Win or at least make the battle in the trenches a stalemate. If we are dominated up front there is no way we win2. Establish some kind of a running game. We dont need to rush for 200yds (but that would be nice) but we have to at least keep Auburn honest3. Dont turn the ball over. This is prolly the most important. AU has a knack for making big plays on D and putting points on the board with them4. Score early. The sooner we can get up the better as this will help take the crowd out of the game5. WR's must make some big plays for us. I dont think their secondary is that great and we will find some opportunities for big plays hopefully they execute when the time comes.Defense1. Stop the run. If we can make Brandon Cox the player that has to beat us and not the line and tate we will be in VERY good shape. If we let AU get 4yds a pop it could be a long night2. No big plays. AU is not a team that is capable of consistently making big plays so we cant let them do something out of character that will get the crowd in the game.3. Put the heat on Cox. He isnt mobile at all and has the tendency to make some bad decisions when pressured (taking sacks instead of throwing it away, bad ints).4. Get off the field. We cant let Auburn have long sustained drives because their size up front will wear us down making a comeback more likely if they need it or allowing them to put us away easier later in the game. 5. Force Turnovers. Turnovers are always a huge factor in who wins in tough ball games. The more we force the better our chances of winning become.Special teams1. No blocked kicks. AU is very good on special teams and has a talent for blocking kicks.2. Take advantage of scoring situations. Missed FG's could be HUGE in this game as points should be at a premium for both teams.3. Win the field position battle. We cant afford to have Auburn starting at midfield or in our territory all night. This will only spell disaster for us. I think USF will have a chance or two for a big play by Matt's scrambling ability. He will get away from the DL once or twice and there will be a potentially big play out there. Gotta take advantage of these plays and make something big out of them. By big, it could mean a 45 yard TD completion, or just a 10 yard run to move the sticks, and keep a drive alive, or field position (not having to kick from the endzone).Go Bulls!! This includes missed blocking assignments on punts...but also no penalties that will extend Auburn drives (clipping, running into the kicker, etc.) Not to mention just hold onto the ball on those punts. We don't need need anything spectacular out of special teams to win...just so long as we have no huge errors....

If we do, we can all stop watching around 9:45.
