The severity of his injury is unknown.Carnes would be a huge loss as the senior saw significant playing time during the opener Saturday against Elon.The injury to Carnes leaves just freshman Jacob Sims as the only healthy backup tackle. Starters Marc Dile and Walt Walker are nursing injuries and center Nick Capogna will sit out after suffering an injury against Elon.Freshman center Sampson Genus participated the entire practice Wednesday and is expected to play against Auburn.
