Combined 143-32.

We've been nowhere close to being the SEC's league (except for one quarter against 'Bama  ).  It'd be nice to take one this time against a ranked SEC opponent.  The stars may be aligned as this is arguably the deepest Bulls squad ever and Auburn, despite a Top 25 ranking, has had its own problems.  Get this monkey OFF MY  BACK!

i think this is the only time we've played one of the SEC teams when we were actually read to play them.

i remember we stuck with bama until the 2nd half then our depth really hurt us.  this is a different story now, since we have been able to recruit at the Div 1 level for a few years now.  those other teams were full of recruits who came when we were either 1-aa or Div 1 indy.

Arkansas 2002 42-3 loss - UGLY - def not ready for speed, size or environment first yr of I-A

Alabama 2003 40-17 loss - played a great first quarter...didnt seem nervous at all then they returned a punt for a TD and it was over

South Carolina 2004 34-3 loss - We were young and not a good team....ala Army loss

I think that's a fair assessment. That this would necessarily be our best shot at a win, given what's happened in the past.

The thing is...it's just hard to tell. You know, there's guys ridin' the pine in the SEC that could start for USF, and at the same

time, we seem to have some sort of road problem. I'd like to think that the road inhibitions have faded after the WVU game, so we'll see.

If we win...honestly...I'd be surprised (just bein' honest). But since we're not playing with real money, I'll hang onto the upset line of thinking.

the tv guys refered to the sun on our side of the stadium, which is why alabama moved to the other side of the stadium.
