I know I am stating the obvious but quick thoughts:

A win this weekend pushes us to the brink of top 25.

Miami will lose this week.

For the first time EVER (If we win) we will be ranked ahead of 2 of the Big 3.

Recruiting is ultimately what can be swayed with a win this weekend.

This is my 13th road trip, of all the trips where we are not picked to win I am looking forward to this one the most.

What kind of shape will T-Man be in for his High School Open House (Where I meet the parents) on Monday Night following a victory.

An Iconic U Tatoo on my right arm with victory? (Who is with me?  Okay now I am getting carried away... National Championship gets T-Man tatooed!)

Second, you do realize that regardless if we win or lose, the team doesn't come back to the hotel.  They go straight from the stadium to the airport.

Third, Go Bulls.

yes, we were at least 10 spots ahead of them in the polls last year

I wouldn't be so sure of Miami losing this week. That team is going to surprise a lot of people. Not to mention Oklahoma is overrated.

We were ahead of FSU and Miami in the power rankings, but not the polls.  We weren't in the Top 25 last year.  TMan brings up a good point.

It seems like our Mighty Bulls are holding the Big East on our shoulders... feels great, but at the same time, it is a bit scary to hold that much weight.

We were ahead of FSU and Miami in the power rankings, but not the polls.

We were receiving votes in the AP poll while FSU and Miami were not.

Uhhh Oklahoma is not overrated. (79-10) They have some serious talent at RB, QB and their defense and could be playing for the national title this year.

This is a huge chance for us to make a name for ourselves nationally.  We don't get another chance to play an OOC top tier team again for another 2 years.  This game is so meaningful in so many ways.
