Not good for USF. But, I think that is only with regard to our weak schedule (Elon is the only one counted thus far).

Sagarin really doesn't get a good sense of what's going on until 4 or 5 games in.  Our low ranking is a by product of a weak opponent coupled with a bland performance.

It's simply a matter of if you win or not, rank of opposing team, and if it was home or away.

Hard to believe that Notre Dame is 59th on that list by losing at home by 30 (worst in school history), but USF is 80 after a win (albeit 1AA cupcake Elon).  I think this pretty much ends any argument for starting the year against a patsie.  Might as well play a semi tough 1A team to help the strength of schedule.
