Streak got broke, big time.  9/14/02 Ark 42 USF 3

ouch. the absolute worse game i've ever seen the Bulls play. we did a lot better the next week against the (i believe) #1 ranked OU team, though. well....a lot better by comparison to the Arkansas game...

OU was #3 at the time and is still USF's highest ranked opponent. They finished the year at #5, 12-2 with losses to Texas A&M and OK St. OU beat Wash St in the Rose Bowl.

USF now shares the longest active wining streak among NCAA FBS team at eight games. The other teams with eight straight wins are Boston College and Hawaii.  The Bulls and Eagles should come in at No. 2 or 3 (no specific order) in first edition of the BCS rankings, as well as the AP and Coaches Polls, which will be announced on Sunday.|| MORE

The best part is that both Hawaii and BC are off this week...

Which means if USF can beat Rutgers, and I think they will,

USF will have the longest winning steak in the nation all by itself!!
