I guess they haven't updated yet with the Monday night game. But I would think Michigan would drop out of the top 25....mind you that loss was unprecedented so we don't know what the voters will do.But in the AP it looks like this:Others Receiving Votes: Missouri 128, Georgia Tech 94, Boston College 75, Oregon 73, South Carolina 69, Miami 68, Alabama 66, Oregon St. 42, Wake Forest 40, South Florida 28, Arizona St. 17, BYU 14, Southern Miss. 12, Notre Dame 11, Virginia 7, Clemson 6, Oklahoma St. 3, Texas Tech 2, Houston 1, Kentucky 1, N.C. State 1, Purdue 1.In the Coaches we are:Boston College (10-3) 150; Georgia Tech (9-5) 150; Miami (Fla.) (7-6) 91; Notre Dame (10-3) 90; South Carolina (8-5) 90; Wake Forest (11-3) 71; Missouri (8-5) 58; Oregon State (10-4) 52; Brigham Young (11-2) 47; Clemson (8-5) 30; Oregon (7-6) 30; South Florida (9-4) 26; Texas Tech (8-5) 20; Alabama (6-7) 16; Oklahoma State (7-6) 15; Southern Mississippi (9-5) 14; Iowa (6-7) 12; Kansas State (7-6) 8; Memphis (2-10) 5; Houston (10-4) 4; Arizona (6-6) 1; Duke (0-12) 1; Kentucky (8-5) 1; Washington State (6-6) 1.Also, with the Notre Dame loss there are some more votes out there to be had.I'm not saying we even come close to getting into the top 25 but it would set up to propell us in there IF we can upset Auburn and have (2) nationally ranked teams in the West Virginia game. Guest
Maybe...Of the 47 teams who received points in the AP poll... only 7 teams lost: Michigan, Tennessee, Wake Forest were ahead of USF... Notre Dame, Virginia, Houston, and NC State were behind USF. Three teams still play tomorrow: Florida State and Clemson play each other, and Texas Tech. Guest JulmisteForPrez
Doubt it.I don't see any reason for it at this point.Come up with a "W" this week, and I think we're in the "25."

Maybe if my other fave team Florida State beats clemson.

Win or lose, I'll still be proud, Man I cant wait for Saturday!

windbane Posted September 3, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 3,403 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 11/27/2005 Share Posted September 3, 2007 There is not actual updated poll. That's a placeholder for the week 1 poll that won't be out until tuesday. Notre Dame and everyone else have the exact same votes because it hasn't changed yet.
