Just goes to show that upsets can happen no matter what. Michigan ranked #5 losing at home against the two time defending football playoff subdivison (1AA)??? That is why we love college sports!!!!

Those Western North Carolina mountain boys don't play.... you won't hear this out of my mouth too often (as teams with this name are conference enemies at both my alma mater and the school at which I work) but Go Mountaineers!

I was also thinking, how is Applachian State ever going to get another payday game after today? Who would take them on now? It would really, really suck to lose and have that happen too.

App St immediately throws a pick. Is it mean of me to say they're choking? They've been horrible on offense and missed a bunch of tackles in the fourth quarter.

Michigan had a FG blocked. App St driving, now down to the Michigan 30 with about a minute to go. It's coming right down to the wire.

Down to the 5 with 30 seconds left!

And there's the field goal. 34-32 App St. with 26 seconds to go.
