If i were texas, i would never do it... but if i am Boston... HELLL YES... The only benefit for texass is getting rid of Arod's HUGE salary.

Texas has no intent of trading AROD for manny so who cares. Texas would trade AROD for manny if the sox also take chan "how the hell did I get so lucky to find someone as stupid as texas to pay me more then god" Park and that aint happening.  If Arod is pryed away by the sox, manny will remain a red sox and be playing alongside arod.  Nomar would be gone and damon would probably be gone for the sox to do the trade. I would not be surprised to see a three team deal with either SD or ANA involved with texas getting very little but getting rid of contract.
