I ran that backwards once. One thing that had me concerned was Mike Ford's 40 time: 4.66. For someone once clocked at 4.37 or so, doesn't seem too fast. I was hoping for Slaton-like speed. Is this something he'll be able to bring down before the spring? or is that price you pay for putting on a little mass?
Guest JulmisteForPrez Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 4.66???Are you serious? :linkIf that's true, that's pretty crappy.

Very few players can overcome below average speed to play at a level like that. This is yet ANOTHER example of ridiculously inflated measurables.Did I tell you guys that in High School, I was 7'8", 475 lbs. and benched 1,250 lbs. while running a 3.2 time in the 40? :slapmax

Right before we started the game, he said he wanted to guard the fastest player on the court to get back in shape. If what I saw on the court translates onto the football field, he'll be quite fine. His 40 time may be paltry, but boy, can he jump out of the gym.I'm sure he will be back in form soon.

Expecting some great sights this Spring Game !Go BULLS !!!
