Bulls Head To Clearwater To Host adidas Invitational Thursday-Sunday

TAMPA, Fla. (March 7, 2007) – The University of South Florida softball team travels to Clearwater, Fla., Thursday through Sunday to host its annual 24-team adidas Invitational at the EC Moore Complex.

The first two and a half days will comprise of pool play and then each team will be broken up into either the gold, silver or bronze bracket depending on their results.  

Tickets to the event can be purchased at the gate. Tournament passes are $25 for an adult and $20 for a child. Single day tickets are $8 for an adult and $6 for a child. Groups of eight or more will receive a $2 discount off of the ticket price.

The Bulls (16-7) will open up the tournament on Thursday facing Wagner at 4 p.m. and North Carolina at 6 p.m. The USF-North Carolina game is a matchup of last year’s NCAA Regional when the Bulls bested the Tar Heels, 2-1, in Gainesville, Fla., on May 19.

On Friday, USF will take on Oklahoma State at 4 p.m. and Western Michigan at 6 p.m. The Bulls will wrap up pool play on Saturday playing Jacksonville at 1 p.m.
