Bulls Baseball Postponed; Will Play Double-Header Sunday

TAMPA, Fla. (March 3, 2007) – The March 3 baseball game between the University of South Florida and Central Michigan at Red McEwen Field has been postponed, and will be played as a two-game double-header on Sunday, March 4. The first pitch will be at noon on Sunday, and the second game will begin one hour after the conclusion of game one. Both contests will be nine-inning games.

The first game will be televised by Catch 47, the official cable partner of USF athletics, and can be seen on tape-delay at 9 p.m. The game will be re-aired Monday, March 5 at 1 p.m. Jim Louk will provide play-by-play while Catch 47’s own Chris Clark will be the color analyst for the Bulls - Chippewas game.  

CMU won the first game of the series, 6-2, Friday night at Red McEwen.

Following the games with CMU, USF welcomes Stetson to Red McEwen Field on Tuesday, March 6 for the second of a three-date series with the Hatters. First pitch for the mid-week game is at 6 p.m. The final game will be played in Tampa on April 10.
