I found this on one of the Gator message boards following the tough loss from the other night.  Our 3B Addison Maruszak wasn't impressed by the Gators apparently.  Gotta like his enthusiasm, but I'm not sure about that guarantee......

Lotta crap coming out of this idiot's mouth after last night's game:

"We missed out tonight," said third baseman Addison Maruszak, who went 2-for-5 and had six infield assists Tuesday. "We're a better team than that club right there. Florida has the big name and everything - we're a much better team than them. When we get them next time in regionals, if they make regionals; if we play them, we're going to beat them. That's a guarantee."

I wonder if he'll bet money or vital parts of his anatomy on that "guarantee"???

well UF is 6-6 so far this year and was one of the worst teams in the SEC last year, if I remember correctly, so it is not really that bold of a statement

Who hasn't experience post-loss emotions? It's not merely the loss, it's the school they lost too.
