Catch 47 To Broadcast Four USF Baseball Games In 2007

TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 28, 2007) – The University of South Florida baseball team, which is off to a 9-2 start, will have four games broadcast on Catch 47 this season, the official cable partner of USF athletics.  

The first televised game will be this weekend’s match-up with Central Michigan University. The Sunday, March 4 game can be seen on tape-delay at 9 p.m., and will be re-aired Monday, March 5 at 1 p.m.

The USF vs. West Virginia game on Friday, April 6 at 6 p.m. can be viewed live on Catch 47, or when it re-airs on Wednesday, April 7 at 1 p.m.

The local cable partner will be on hand for the Sunday, April 22 contest when the Bulls host Rutgers, as well as the Sunday, May 6 game with Georgia Tech. Both of these games can be seen live at noon on Catch 47 or when the games re-air the following day at 9 p.m.

Jim Louk will provide play-by-play on all four games while former Major League Baseball All-Star Fred McGriff and Catch 47’s own Chris Clark will split the analyst duties, with Clark on hand as the color analyst for the Central Michigan game.

Sunday, March 4 – USF vs. Central Michigan – Tape delayed at 9 p.m. / Re-airs March 5 at 1 p.m.

Good news for the team.  Maybe we can get more of the general community out to some of these games.  I spoke with one of their cameramen last week during the JU series.  I'll try to sit close to the booth/mics to get my voice on the air this weekend.  I'll be the one yelling "atta baby" after all USF good plays.
