Just how we like it! Too bad the fans don't get on the field.Looks like Howie was to the rescue as usual on opponent boards. After Howie posted a highlight reel someone wrote my favorite quote of the YEAR!!Quote:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Here is a video of Grothe--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Good Lord! He makes Tebow look like a toddler.

Pitt never played up to their pre season hype but they were hyped early on when the game took place.

Most the news orgs have pinned this as a possible upset and a top 20 OOC game, they will be coming off a tough game teh week before against K-State.USF is going to have to play their game and execute well to win.

Auburn beat the national champs at home. I could see why some might question our pedigree.

Blackwell and Mitchell won't be playing Auburn. Nope, last I checked, each season is a new one. How many times did Wake beat FSU before last season? What about Boise State over Oklahoma? How about USF over WVU? Each season is a new one and what has happened in the past doesn't mean squat.

Not to bring it up again but USF beat Pitt at Pitt in 2001 they were in different conference (Big East) that was BCS. By twist of fate we ended up in same conference now. Pitt went to a bowl game that year and was opening up (2nd game) a new stadium. They were favored by a large margin.

If USF is on and Auburn is off mentally then USF wins. IF we are both on, home has the crowd advantage. USF is a team that takes time to warm up, lets just hope game two they are smokin. USF can do it. Remember when we had Alabama on the ropes for the 1st quarter? We are a much improved program so everyone even the Auburn coach knows USF can beat them.
