4-0, top of the 7th.  Manhattan just recorded their first hit of the ballgame in the top half of the 7th.  So far, great pitching by Thomas.

Very early smazz...don't get too overjoyed and then have to reverse course as you did with CRM.  If Lelo can cut down on the errors, improve fundamentals like bunting/hit and run/etc., and not screw up the pitching staff (all of which EC did), we have a chance to win this conference.

We should be a perennial post season player, just don;t get your personal expectations so high that any brush with mediocrity propels you into a downward spiral.

I'm still a little nervous about our pitching - but it's early.

Bulls up 5-0 now in the bottom of the 7th.  Bulliever, I agree with most of what you just said.  I've seen four games live this season.  We're good enough to play with most teams, but at times our infield defense is lacking.  I'm not expecting to win the conference this year, but we should be in the top three or four teams.  It seems we've gotten the bunting fixed from the opening game.  We just need to keep doing the little things (smart defense, moving runners up, etc) to make our good baseball team better.

Thomas just got lifted after 7 strong innings, giving up only one hit and one walk.  Way to go Daniel, great effort tonight.

Hopefully the bullpen can take it the rest of the way for the victory.

Sanford gave up a leadoff single and then walked the next batter.  Quick hook by Lelo and Yuri Higgins is now on the mound.  I bet our boy Wags is warming up now.

I was trying to look at season stats just to llook at the errors per game.  With EC we probably averaged 2.5 to 3.  Not a good sign.  Hope we are making the routine plays and NOT giving free baserunners to the opposition.
