EVERY TEAM. They come, watch a little bit and then head out for dinner or a movie or a party or whatever. Just the way it goes. That being said! Before the band could even start playing the alma mater I saw almost the entire student section, include many of the beef studs (with the excepting of 1) GONE. I looked for them, and they may have been somewhere, but I couldn't find them. There are casual fans, yes, but THAT many? I couldn't believe it.

Guest Ari_Hinkelberger Posted February 15, 2007 Posted February 15, 2007 What is there to stay for? What you should be asking yourself is why anyone even shows up anymore. That product on the floor at the USF Sundome is downright awful. It is the same ole junk that has been put forth for four years now..A team that turns the ball over constantly. A team that doesn't have a single consistent scoring threat from the guard position. A team that looks lost from an offensive set stand point. It is not good basketball.Talking to my buddy who was from Rochester he noted "Ari, ask yourself who would come play basketball here? And come on, Jim Boehiem doesn't lose to South Florida. This guy is a hall of fame national championship coach. How has USF fared against the better coaches in the league.. Not good"Points well taken.

What about ol' Frane Marskuvic (or however it's spelled)? He's turned out to be a great 8th or 9th man off the bench for Gobbledeegook Community College in Podunk, Texas. Now that is proof that robert McCullum knows Big East talent when he sees it!! :
