At least the odds makers have us in the mix. Mike, we know you love USF, but do you really want to stir the pot and get these devoted fans totally P. O.'d at you. LOLI have never for a minute gave a thought that we could win the 2008 BCS championship or even vie for it. 2009 or later, that might very well be possible.First we have to win the Big East, and we also have to move up the rankings and be in the top 10. At the end of 2007 I could see us ranked as high as 17. It would take another year or 2 beyond that to get into that elite top 10.This is strictly my thinking. I am not saying it is fact but a Bullief.

The odds of any of the 70 teams not listed is better that the odds that we will make it.If you bet on the field, you're betting on 70 teams, not one.

Why wouldn't they include us in the field though? I guess they feel people would actually throw down money on USF as a 300/1 longshot, as opposed to a UCF type team just being listed in the field. OK, got it.
VeryBullish Posted February 14, 2007 Group: Member Topic Count: 22 Content Count: 261 Reputation: 0 Days Won: 0 Joined: 12/14/2006 Posted February 14, 2007 The odds is 50-1 to one for the field because a field of any one team of 60+ teams winning the nc is more likely to happen...per say than USF winning it alone.USF is still not getting any respect in Vegas. That's cool. That means big paydays for those who wager on USF.
