tv failed to televise enough games

failed to allow local youth  to act as ball boys

leavitt is terrible in front of camera and does not speak well

record attendance this year.

UCF, UL, WVU, and Cincy at home, so there's definitely a great chance for that.

Don't we also have UNC at home this year??  I expect great numbers this year based on that schedule.  It is by far the best home schedule we've ever had.

We need more Bulls fans in the stands not ...opponents fans...Cincy doen't travel well so I wouldn't count on them bringing many fans like UCF, UL, and WV.

It is a combination of factors.  First, the state of Florida is filled with fans of UF and FSU because of the mascot and that the programs win pretty consistently.  People like winners.  Secondly, USF does not currently have the alumni base that UF, FSU, and Miami have.  So, if we continue to win, and bring good schools to USF to play.  Next year Kansas, the following year Miami at home. That will help.  And we need to get more students out at the games and alumni to show up.

Time . . . and wins !

Beating Auburn and winning the Big East WILL help.

My wife, who is an Elon grad, would be upset if I didn't point out that we are playing them at home this year too.  Just adding to an already great home schedule.  ;) ::)

How well does Elon travel?

They don't.

When my wife went there they played on a high school field in front of maybe 500 to 1000 people.

They have now built a new stadium, but Elon is a VERY small private school.  There were only like 3K enrolled when my wife graduated in 2000.

I would be shocked if there were more than 100 people there supporting Elon.  And I would bet most of them live in the area and did not travel.

USF has about 10 times the Alumni base of Miami. UM is a small private school were a lot of the Alumni come from put of state and go home after school, they also have a large population of foreign students.

It will take time and a greater turnout of students, that is the selling point of college football the students make the game a unique experience.

My first experience with college football was at RayJay back in 2001 (I bullieve that was the year). Since then I have been avidly pro-college football.  In fact (hard though it may be to fathom) I haven't watched any of the NFL games this year.

USF will gain the typical Tampa Bay Bandwagoners very soon, possibly this year.

The REAL key is the 13-18 yr olds around the area. USF needs to market to that age group. Those kids are the future of the program, and I dont mean on the field.
