Maybe Coach Mike Jarvis would be interested in taking over at USF if McCullum does not turn this ship around. I know Jarvis is now doing broadcast games for the BIG EAST this season, so I am sure he is eyeing for a job opening.  He will keep the dicipline in the program, and he has experience in the BIG EAST.

The same guy who was Coach at St. John's when they had a bunch of players get arrested in Pittsburgh with hooker?

Thanks, but no thanks.

I'm not blaming Jarvis for that.  I think he's a class act.  Plus he has serious contacts in NYC.  Possibly get some players from that area.

Why does everyone just think we have the money to spend on coaches? Jarvis is expensive and would ask for a lot of upgrades...

Lets worry about a new coach when/if the time comes.

Why not? It proved he had no control over his players.

Unless he paid for the hookers himself, I doubt he had any knowledge of it.  No coach can be around these athletes 100% of the time.  At some point these kids need to be responsible for their actions and not pin these things on coaches or others.

If memory serves me correctly the incident happened after they had already played Pitt, so if they were not flying out that night, then there should have been some sort of curfew in place to prevent that type of thing. That responsibility falls on the coach.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
