I don't see UL being that far down being extreme, while I don't think UL will go to crap in a year and still will be a tough team, Petrino was not working with all world talent at every position.

A lot of what he was able to do was via schemes and getting the MOST out of his players which made him a great coach. While they still have talent losing what he's pointed out is going to be tough for any program not named USC.

thye have pretty good depth as they have been recruiting at a decent level for a while

I think it's gonna be a tough season for Louisville, even worse if they lose everyone.  They may not be ranked by the end of the season...

Yes, but how much of Cantwell's performance was him and how much was Petrino's ability to gameplan with QBs? They might lose their 2 leading receivers, their all world QB, their leading rusher nad that is just the offense. How is ranking them 25 extreme?

Most people, including this guy, don't have ND ranked next year. USC gets everyone back except Dwayne Jarret, how is it unfair not to see this team as number one going into next season?

I think his rankings are fairly accurate.
